Here is the opportunity to recognize extraordinary young women as they pursue their dreams.

The CFUW Brampton Legacy Award recognizes secondary school graduates selected by their schools for their academic excellence and full participation in student and community activities.  The award provides financial support to young women as they pursue further studies at a Canadian university.

Income from this fund is distributed, as grants, annually to that year’s award recipients.  A donation to this Fund will increase the number and value of the awards, as the donation forms part of the permanent capital of the Fund.  This Fund is held by the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation as a permanent endowment fund that provides grants in perpetuity.

The CFUW Brampton Legacy award continues a more than 50-year advocacy for Brampton girls as they graduate from secondary school.  Over the years, the Canadian Federation of University Women-Brampton awarded more than $160,000 in scholarships to outstanding young women in our community.
