Although Denise Marques joined the Foundation in 2023, her relationship with the BACCF goes back to 2009 as a grant recipient. Denise has witnessed firsthand the impact a grant from the Foundation can have on an organization; and now to be on the other side of the process is a really unique and special position, one she truly takes pride in. “My favorite aspect of my job is getting to know the people who have supported and are supported by the BACCF over the years – from
fund holders, donors, stakeholders to grant recipients and volunteers, I want to know their stories. These stories are what connect us and build thriving communities.”
Denise has nearly 20 years experience working in the arts and culture field, specifically within museums and art galleries. Denise specialized in Donor & Member Relations, Education, Volunteer Coordinator and Special Events.
Born and raised in Brampton, Denise is a wife and mother of three, whose hobbies include driving her kids to their hobbies. Cruising adventures are her family’s vacations of choice.
