The Foundation’s annual event, the Pearl Luncheon, is a time to showcase charities and allow fundholders to hear firsthand the impact their financial support has in our communities. This year, nearly $92,000 was dispersed between 19 local charities! These grants are supported with the funds from our Community and Field of Interest Endowment Funds.
During The Pearl, the Foundation also awards local charities with the Charity Service Awards. This year, the BACCF acknowledged Scientists in School and the Wellspring Chinguacousy Foundation for their positive impact within their fields and further into the community.
It is the perfect reminder that philanthropy does make a difference, charities do make a difference, and people in need truly are helped. We are so fortunate to live, work and play in thriving communities – and the BACCF is honoured to play our part.
The Pearl was hosted at the Brampton Golf Club
