With a beautiful autumn day as a backdrop, the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation hosted its annual Opal Luncheon — a cherished tradition where our community gathers to honor an individual whose impact, leadership and dedication are truly inspiring.
One of the afternoon’s most meaningful moments was honoring this year’s Living Legacy Award recipient, Mr. Neil Davis.
As a true community builder, Neil has dedicated decades of service to building a better Brampton and beyond. Outside his career as Partner at Davis Webb LLP, he has taken on numerous leadership roles — from board governance to advisory positions to championing major fundraising initiatives, the new Peel Memorial Hospital, for example.
His volunteer roles include: the founding Director of the Brampton Downtown Development Corporation, the Vice-Chair of the William Osler Health System Board, a Director of the Central West Local Health Integration Network and serving on the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation’s Ambassador Group.
Neil Davis is a reminder that true legacy isn’t measured in years, but in the lives touched and the change created. Congratulations Neil!
